Mara then used the power given to her from beyond to slaughter Dranzorg and her treacherous knights, though she would never again be able to leave the fortress. The warlord agreed to spare Mara’s knights if they would watch their leader be trapped behind a wall. Mara marched a team of knights towards Castle Laventz, where they were quickly captured by Dranzorg. The following information was pieced together by various visions given to the party in the House of Lament, as well as questions answered by Mara during the seances. It was suggested that she was overtaken by a Dark Power. She was incredibly angry and agitated, which the party found out from the diary of Belle Silvra. When Dalk Dranzorg attacked the keep, her entire surviving family fled to Levkarest, Borca.įrom there, her relatives noted she was acting strangely. Mara and her family were apparently the original owners of the house, when it was known as Castle Laventz. Mara Silvra was the party’s main spiritual contact, and later foe, at the House of Lament.
